2+ Years of Prep Cook / Salad Cook Experience Required (See What We’re Looking For)

What You’ll Do:

Work alongside our Executive Chef & Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service.
Execute food preparation and presentation to The Shed’s high standards.
Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment, following safety guidelines.
Open and close the kitchen following The Shed’s protocols and Health Department regulations.
Ensure all food storage areas are properly organized and products are stored safely and hygienically.

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen
Ability to work both day and evening shifts (two days off per week for Full Time).
Exceptional knife skills and knowledge of major food prep techniques (breakfast/brunch experience a plus!).
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor.
Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional attitude.
Experience reading and following written recipes accurately.
Familiarity with receiving and organizing deliveries.
Physical stamina to stand for full shifts and lift 15+ lbs as needed.

Trabajar junto al Chef Ejecutivo y el Kitchen Manager para mantener una operación eficiente
Preparar y presentar alimentos según los estándares de la casa
Mantener un área de trabajo limpia, organizada y segura
Preparar y abastecer estaciones antes del servicio
Manejar y cuidar correctamente el equipo de cocina
Cumplir con los protocolos de apertura y cierre
Organizar y almacenar alimentos de manera adecuada
