EXPERIENCED MANAGERS

The Shed Restaurant Eat Well. Drink. #InTheShed Cuisine: American / Comfort Food dining for Brunch, Lunch & Dinner.

1-2+ years experience minimum required - Must be able to work Days & Nights (with two days off per week)

It will be even better if you:

  • 1-2+ years experience working in a fast paced, high volume restaurant

  • Have experience with some catering / private events (This location is mostly al-la-carte dining so private affairs are only a portion of the responsibilities)

  • Some experience opening new restaurants or working knowledge of the intricacies that go into this process.

 

Roles & Responsibilities of Our Leaders (Management):

  • Establish excellent guest relations, ensure guest satisfaction and lead your teams by example.

  • Respond to any possible guest issue (though rare) in a genuine and timely manner (and as designated by HQ) to ensure all guests leave happy.

  • Conduct employee orientations and training

  • Recruit, retain, train and develop an ideal number of team members who are passionate and dedicated to delivering the best experience possible to our guests.

  • Manage and fully understand the backend of our POS system (TOAST) with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues with help of IT phone support (involves both stationary & handheld units). We provide training but a comfort level with technology is required.

  • Ensure the profitability of The Shed restaurant operations by operating within cost of goods and labor productivity guidelines while providing exceptional service

  • Control necessary direct operating expenses / conduct inventory for items such as utilities, smallwares, etc.

  • Ensures that all daily / weekly restaurant paperwork is completed accurately and on a timely basis: daily sheets, payroll, purchase orders, bank deposits, employment-related forms, etc.
